Overview

This course is applicable to specialty trainees and clinicians dealing with gynaecological disorders from birth to adolescence.  The delegates will learn about the diagnosis and management of common Paediatric and Adolescent Gynecology (PAG) problems as well as less common conditions. Day one will focus on basic approaches to assessing children and adolescents with gynaecological problems, safeguarding children, and specific issues relating to sexuality and contraception in young people.

Day two will focus on specialist areas of PAG, and topics with a direct bearing on the management of young people with gynaecological and urogenital problems.  The day also encompasses other current issues including sports gynaecology. The BritSPAG AGM is scheduled for part of the lunch break on day two.
