Russian Scientific Medical Society of Physicians announces the III All-Russia competition of young scientists as part of the V National Congress of Physicians, which will be held in November 2010.

  3. Best work in the field of clinical pharmacology of therapeutic pathology
  4. Best work in the field of epidemiology
  5. Best work in the field of exigent conditions
  6. Best poster presentation
  7. Special Jury Prize

Evaluation criteria:

  • novelty of the work
  • relevance of the information provided
  • demonstrativeness of presentation

 

Conditions of participation in the competition:

  • age under 35 years
  • innovative work in the field of therapy

 

The work can not be represented at the competition if:

  • it was previously reported at other congresses and conferences
  • it contradicts to interests of at least one of the authors
  • does not meet the conference theme
  • does not meet the requirements specified to the works
  • reporting author is over 35 years

By presenting the work to the competition the author acknowledges that he conveys to the organizers all the rights to its publication as part of the collection of abstracts of the Congress.

All the works sent for the competition will be reviewed by the authoritative jury. As a result of the reviewing the works will be selected for oral and poster sessions, which will be held in November 26, 2010.

 

Publication of the works

The works recognized by the jury as worthy of publication will be placed in the section "Competition of Young Scientists" of the sourcebook of the V National Congress of therapists.

Publication of theses is free of charge.

 

Requirements for theses formalisation

  1. Theses submitted to the competition must not be previously published or sent for publication to other publications.
  2. The thesis is recommended to build according to the scheme:
    • Introduction
    • idea
    • purpose
    • materials and methods
    • results
    • discussion
  3. All abbreviations, except for units of measurement may be used only after reference to the full term. 
  4. The text should not contain tables, graphs, drawings.
  5. The total number of text characters (not counting the title and the authors' data) should not exceed 2500 characters, including spaces.
  6. If the work underwent ethical review of the Ethics Committee, it is necessary to specify the date and result of the discussion at the end of the text.
  7. Reference on taken for publication and participation in the competition theses are placed in the section “Registered participants” opposite the name of the author.

 

Requirements for work formalisation:

Oral Report:

  • Duration of public speaking is 10 min.
  • The presentation accompanying the report should be formalized in MS Power Point format and submitted to the Organizing Committee no later than 15 minutes prior to the start of the section.

Poster presentation:

  • the format of the poster is 120 cm vertically x 100 cm horizontally;

 

Awarding:

Awarding will take place in November 26, 2010 upon completion of the oral section of the competition.

Participation in the competition of young scientists is verified by Certificate of a Participant.
