The ASE 23rd Annual Scientific Sessions, “Cardiovascular Imaging: A Disease and a Patient-Based Approach,” will be held at Gaylord National®, National Harbor, Maryland.

We understand your time is valuable and want to give you the most out of your attendance, so each day is packed with educational sessions, as well as, some social activities to provide you with beneficial networking time. ASE is committed to providing educational programming with stateof-the-art techniques and updates in diagnosis, treatment and patient care in the cardiovascular ultrasound field. The ASE 2012 Scientific Sessions Program Chair is Sherif F. Nagueh, MD, FASE, Professor of Medicine at Methodist DeBakey Heart & Vascular Center in Houston, Texas. Dr. Nagueh was the 2001 Feigenbaum Lecturer and spoke on “Insights into the Evaluation of Left Ventricular Diastolic Function.

The ASE 2012 Program Committee designed this program to allow attendees to get a broad overview of all topics, or delve deeply into one or two topics. In addition, particular care has been taken to incorporate ASE guidelines into talks and will demonstrate how and why they should be applied in your daily practice.
